Datagaard’s Asset and Resource Management System was designed to handle the tracking of items released for sale and rent. External providers would submit an order request which would produce a picking slip. This was used to select an item for sale or rental, which was shipped and billed accordingly. Special consideration was needed for the differences in billing between short term rentals, long term rentals, and sales billing. Also clients had different billing rules and delivery requirements.
